Virtual Conference 2021: Challenges and Trends Affecting the Future of Manufacturing

Trelleborg Sealing Solutions hosts its third Virtual Conference on December 9, 2021. Free to attend, the event will explore key trends that are affecting the transformation of manufacturing processes. Discussions will focus on the effect of the emergence of Industry 4.5, as well as a shift in priorities to sustainability, increased speed-to-market, and the resilience of supply chains.

Together with Jürgen Bosch and Oliver Chan, Business Unit Presidents Marketing Europe & Asia, Dr. Konrad Saur, Vice President of Innovation & Technology at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions, will be hosting this year’s conference. They will be joined by:  


  • Fredrik Östbye, Group Vice President, Head of FutureLab, Grundfos
  • Prof. Dr. Thomas Bauernhansl, Director Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation 
  • Malte Volkwein, Head of the Corporate Strategy and Development Department, Fraunhofer IPA

The team will present solutions and best practice examples to tackle current and future manufacturing challenges.
