Standardised drilling:

ID≤150mm: WP 10bar.
ID>150mm: WP 5bar.

requirements.
Easy to cut: no special tooling is needed as the coupling face acts as a cutting guide.
The flange can be adjusted easily for fitting and will not deform in service.
Quick and easy to replace.
The couplings can be removed from a damaged hose and reused on replacement.
