BioPharmaPro™ Silicone Tubing
Used to transport the medium into and out of the bioreactor, BioPharmaPro™ silicone tubing is manufactured using platinum-cured silicone, to achieve the highest level of purity. BioPharmaPro™ silicone tubing demonstrates outstanding cleanliness according to extended extractable and leachable studies following the BioPhorum Operations Group (BPOG) testing protocol. In addition, tubing is compliant with United States Pharmacopeia (USP) 87, USP 88 Class VI and can be sterilized with the latest gamma and X-ray sterilization methods to achieve the standards needed in today’s single-use systems.
BioPharmaPro™ Bearings
BioPharmaPro™ bearings ensure smooth rotating and minimize particle generation without the use of metal elements. Geometries can be customized to match hardware design.
In large bioreactors, a drive coupling must be able to effectively mix up to 5,000 liters/1,320 gallons of media. Homogeneous mixing requires a high shear mixer. The high force in the rotating system can cause friction, which can generate particles. Our custom, combined bearing and sealing solution facilitates a strong drive for uniform mixing and virtually eliminates friction to prevent particle generation.

BioPharmaPro™ Sheeting
BioPharmaPro™ sheeting can help with low shear mixing processes. Attached to the mixing rod, sheeting generates a wave movement, gently mixing the medium. We design and manufacture silicone sheeting with the highest level of quality and compatibility. We work closely with customers to design components that meet their precise requirements, whether vulcanized, unvulcanized, reinforced, non-reinforced, pigmented, rolled or cut to purpose.
