My time at Trelleborg represents a path of continuous growth. I started in administrative and human resources roles, and today I work across teams to drive our global operations. Being part of this dynamic work environment allows me to see the real impact of our decisions on our people, processes and solutions.
What has been the most rewarding part of your career with Trelleborg so far?
The opportunity to grow and take on new challenges over time stands out as the most rewarding part of my career. I started working mainly in administrative and human resources areas. Gradually, I became more involved in the overall operation of the business. Seeing the real impact of our work in the facility, in the processes and in the people means the most to me. Moving closer to operations allowed me to understand how each decision reflects in the daily work of the team and in the company’s results.
How has your role at Trelleborg changed or developed over time?
My role evolved significantly since I joined the company. Initially, I focused on administrative topics and human resources to support the internal management of the organization. Over time, I seized opportunities to get involved in other areas of the business. I learned more about operations, production and our supply chain.
Today my cross-functional role allows me to work closely with teams like production, quality, logistics and project management. This evolution helped me develop a broader perspective on how an industrial operation works and how each function contributes to the success of the business.
Can you share a specific moment or project at Trelleborg that made you feel proud of your work?
I felt particularly proud when I supported the transfer of certain operations from Europe and Asia to our facility in Mexico. These kinds of transitions require strong coordination between teams in different countries. They also demand careful planning and collaboration between engineering, production and logistics.
Seeing the local team successfully absorb new processes and adapt to these challenges brought me a lot of satisfaction. This project perfectly illustrates how global collaboration within Trelleborg creates growth opportunities for different plants.
From your perspective, what makes the culture at Trelleborg special?
From my perspective, what makes Trelleborg special is the combination of being a global company while maintaining a strong sense of teamwork at the local level. Something I really appreciate is the inclusive and open environment. You genuinely feel like you are part of the company.
In my experience, the ideas or suggestions I share are listened to and taken into consideration, which creates a strong sense of trust. This combination of collaboration, openness and trust makes the work more meaningful. It motivates people to continue contributing to the company’s exciting future.
