What has been the most rewarding part of your career with Trelleborg so far?
The most rewarding part for me is that, as a single parent, I have the opportunity to balance the demands of my job with those of my family. That flexibility is something I truly value, and it makes a real difference in my day-to-day life.
How has your role at Trelleborg changed or developed over time?
Throughout my time in the Sales department, I have worked in an Inside Sales role that has evolved with the business. When we introduced a new structure, we separated a portion of our previous tasks into a dedicated Customer Service function. This shift has allowed our team to collaborate more closely with Key Account Managers, focusing our energy on the strategic topics that matter most to our customers.
In addition, I am actively involved in supporting trainees as well as contributing to the ESG project at our site, as sustainability and fostering young talent are particularly important to me.
From your perspective, what makes the culture at Trelleborg special?
For me, company culture is primarily shaped by respectful interaction and open communication. Collaborating with colleagues from different areas and perse backgrounds enriches my daily work, both professionally and personally. I greatly value being part of a team where knowledge is shared, different perspectives are welcomed and mutual support is a given. This combination of trust, inclusion and continuous development is what makes our company culture special to me.
How has being part of a global team influenced your work and personal growth?
The exchange with my colleagues around the world is an essential part of my daily work. It significantly contributes to my efficiency and supports both my personal and professional development. I particularly appreciate working in our perse teams: through different perspectives, cultural insights, practical tips for everyday work and open discussions, I expand not only my knowledge but also my horizon. This strong team spirit is what truly makes the difference for me.
As Trelleborg continues to grow, what opportunities have you discovered for your own development?
Trelleborg offers a wide range of development opportunities. For me, staying open to these opportunities and recognizing the right one when it arises has been key.
