Spiraduct+
The Spiraduct+ system is designed to provide an additional protective layer for impact and abrasion protection for subsea cables, umbilicals and other tubulars.
Spiraduct+ consists of discrete cylindrical sections manufactured in marine grade rubber and cut to form a spiral wrap. Installation simply involves opening the helix and winding it around the cable. This makes Spiraduct+ particularly well suited to installation by diver.
Spiraduct+ is also suited to providing temporary cable protection; for example, preventing abrasion at the cableship sheave during a cable repair. It can also be utilised for short runs of cable liable to impact or abrasion e.g. ROV or plough control umbilicals.
Spirawrap is suitable for small diameter cables up to 100mm OD and where tight bend radii of up to 0.5m can be expected.
