This range is suitable for operating temperatures to -196°C (-320°F). Collar release mechanism ensures 100% instantaneous closure: even in the most demanding of operating conditions. The Emergency Release Coupling offers a safe identifiable parting point within the transfer system, offering protection to personnel and equipment.

Light weight and compact

The KLAW ERC is lightweight and compact; making handling for installations, maintenance and reinstatement as easy as possible.

Controlled release

The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) provides a continuous circulating heating system to all connected ERCs and facilitates release under pre-defined scenarios and conditions.

The HPU is also resets the Emergency Release Couplings following activation.

Class Approved and tested

Class Approved and 100% proof tested in ambient and cryogenic conditions at the UK in-house testing facility. 
KLAW cryogenic ERCs are tested on site to ensure they conform to the highest of industry and safety standards.
Once tested all couplings are supplied with test certification.
Test certification is provided at no extra cost.
