Natural Rubber progress

As Trelleborg’s membership in the Global Platform for Sustainable Natural Rubber (GPSNR) progresses, more results from the initiative will become visible.
An important step forward is the creation of a steering document that regulates Trelleborg's purchasing of natural rubber. This is to be approved in Spring 2022.
In line with the Trelleborg sustainability strategy 'Protecting the Essential', the document will contain the following sections:
- Introduction
- Protecting people: Commitment to Human Rights and working conditions
- Protecting the environment: Commitment to circular use of resources, waste minimization, biodiversity, and nature preservation
- Commitment to Monitoring and Reporting on Progress Towards, and Conformance with Policy Framework
- Supply Chain Traceability Assessment
