Trelleborg recognizes that children are the future for this company as well as for the society as a whole. This is why they are considered the most important part in our corporate citizenship. We strongly believe that sport, education and coaching has the ability to change the course of life.
Research shows that sport is a good tool for prevention of juvenile delinquency. It also states that it helps improve general well-being, and may improve results in school.
These are the main reasons for us to engage in partnerships with sports clubs and associations. We are convinced that these partnerships make a difference – to the individual but also to the society as a whole - by giving dedicated support to young people’s learning and development activities. There are so many enthusiasts and leaders, fighting for each individual kid, seeing them and helping to find a purpose. These projects and the people involved deserve better visibility, to hopefully inspire more people and companies to embark on the same journey.

Activity, Health and Joy - those are the key messages for the initiative Healthy Youth (Hälsosam Ungdom) run by the ice hockey team Malmö Redhawks. The aim is to increase our youths' physical activity, by making sports more accessible for all.
The ice hockey players and the Redhawks team visit schools in southern Sweden, doing sports with the kids, as well as inspire them to a healthy life style.
