Trelleborg Group has signed an agreement to divest a Czech operation in automotive components that is currently recognized under Group activities. In 2022, the divested operation reported annual sales of approximately SEK 450 M and made a minor loss. The sale has only an insignificant impact on the group’s EBITA and profit after tax. The buyer is Kaprain, a Czech investment group.

Located in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic, the operation develops and manufactures primarily antivibration solutions for the chassis and engines of automotive light and heavy vehicles.

“It is gratifying to be able to announce this divestment. Antivibration solutions for automotive light and heavy vehicles is not a core business for us. We are therefore pleased to have found a new owner who wants to develop the operation further with a clearer regional focus,” says Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg Group.

The divestment is expected to be finalized during the fourth quarter of 2023.
