Trelleborg’s Board of Directors proposes to postpone dividend decision

The Board of Directors of Trelleborg has decided to withdraw the previous dividend proposal and instead propose that the Annual General Meeting resolves that no dividend will be paid. When the market has stabilized, and visibility of earnings has normalized, it is the Board’s ambition to call to an extraordinary general meeting later this year, to decide on a dividend for the 2019 fiscal year.

The background to this proposal is the increased economic uncertainty and the public measures taken to slow down the spread of COVID-19 globally and their effects on the Group. Trelleborg has a strong financial base, with good liquidity and long-term confirmed financing in place, but as a precaution the Board chooses to propose to the Annual General Meeting that it decides to postpone the decision on the dividend.

This proposal for decision does not change the Group's dividend policy.

Trelleborg’s Annual General Meeting will be held on April 23 at 5:00 p.m. in Trelleborg, Sweden.
