Trelleborg strengthens its long-term financing

Refinancing through new syndicated loan of EUR 750 M and USD 625 M with term of five years

Trelleborg
AB (publ) and Trelleborg Treasury AB (publ) have today closed a EUR 750 million and USD 625 million syndicated multicurrency revolving credit facility. The total volume of this new credit facility corresponds to some SEK 10.6 billion. The new credit facility is scheduled to mature in March 2016.
It replaces and refinances Trelleborg’s existing EUR 750 million and USD 600 million multicurrency revolving credit from 2005 which had an original final scheduled maturity date in March 2012.

A total of 16 financial institutions from 10 countries have committed to the new credit facility. Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Nordea Bank AB (publ), Merchant Banking Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) and Swedbank AB (publ) acted as Co-coordinating Bookrunners of the transaction whilst Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ) and DnB Nor Bank ASA were Bookrunners. Merchant Banking Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) acted as Documentation Agent.

“We are pleased that we could conclude the syndication of our new credit facility with a broad core bank group on the basis of significant oversubscription” says Bo Jacobsson, Chief Financial Officer of the Trelleborg Group. “The new credit facility forms a sound basis for the financing of our Group until 2016 and increases our flexibility going forward”.
