Carolina Dybeck Happe has been appointed new Chief Financial Officer of the Trelleborg Group, commencing April 26, 2011. She succeeds Bo Jacobsson, who has been the Trelleborg Group’s CFO since 2002. To ensure a smooth transition, Bo Jacobsson will remain with Trelleborg until June 2011, after which he will retire.

Carolina Dybeck Happe is 38 years old. She has a degree in Master of Science in business administration from Uppsala University and has worked for Assa Abloy since 2002, most recently as CFO for EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa), based in London, and previously as CFO for Central Europe, based in Germany. Earlier, Carolina worked as CFO for Establish and in a number of different positions in EF, where she was based in Russia, Poland, Switzerland and the US.

“We are delighted to have recruited Carolina,” says Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg. “Her profile is an excellent match for Trelleborg, with solid and broad experience of industrial know-how and of working with finance and business controlling very close to operations in a variety of international environments.

“I also want to take the opportunity to thank Bo for his work as CFO and his strong contribution to Trelleborg’s development over many years. He has played a key role in our successes and has been a highly appreciated manager and colleague, in terms of his very broad and in-depth competence, as well as his personal qualities.
