EARNINGS IMPROVEMENT IN THE SECOND QUARTER The Trelleborg Group increased its net sales to SEK 6,348 M (6,108) in the second quarter of 2005. Organic growth was 4 percent. For continuing operations, excluding restructuring costs and impairment losses, net profit rose 13 percent to SEK 355 M (315). All five business areas reported improved operating profit in the second quarter. Net sales for the first half of the year increased to SEK 12,142 M (11,923). For continuing operations, excluding restructuring costs and impairment losses, net profit was SEK 600 M (600). Operating cash flow improved to SEK 752 M (603).
