Trelleborg makes complementary acquisition within marine fender systems in the US

Trelleborg makes complementary acquisition within marine fender systems in the US Through its business area Trelleborg Engineered Systems, the Trelleborg Group has acquired the operations of US-based Ecoboard, which develops and manufactures primarily marine piling and deck constructions. Ecoboard, which has annual sales of approximately SEK 20 M, produces composite marine piling and decks from recycled polymer materials. This acquisition supplements Trelleborg's product offering in marine engineering solutions, with port facilities as the primary end-customer segment. The acquisition also reinforces Trelleborg's already leading position in this market. Ecoboard will be fully integrated with Trelleborg's existing US operations. Including its Fentek and Seaward brands, Trelleborg is the world's largest manufacturer of marine fender systems.
