Peter Nilsson appointed new President of Trelleborg Engineered Systems Peter Nilsson, 36, has been appointed new President of the Trelleborg Engineered Systems business area, provisionally effective as of June 1, 2003 and will be a member of the Trelleborg Group Mangement. M. Sc. in Industrial Economics, Peter Nilsson has extensive international experience of both production and marketing in an industrial environment. He has worked for Trelleborg in various senior positions since 1995, with management responsibility for operations in Europe, the United States and Asia. Today, he is head of the Trelleborg Engineered Systems' Engineered Products business unit, which is headquartered in Singapore and has annual sales corresponding to approximately SEK 1.2 billion. In 2002, the Trelleborg Engineered Systems business area posted net sales of slightly more than SEK 3.3 billion, with around 2,800 employees. The business area has production in Sweden, Norway, the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, the United States, Canada, Singapore and Australia, as well as a full-coverage distribution organization for industrial supplies in Europe and North America. Georg Brunstam, current President of the business area, is leaving Trelleborg to become President and CEO of Swedish plastic components company, Nolato AB.
