George Caplea appointed Executive Vice President of Trelleborg AB George Caplea, 51, was today appointed an Executive Vice President of Trelleborg AB. George Caplea has been President of the Trelleborg Automotive business area since 1998. "Following two major acquisitions, BTR and LACD, the automotive industry and the Trelleborg Automotive business area in turn have assumed increased importance within the Group," says Trelleborg CEO Fredrik Arp. "Today, Trelleborg Automotive accounts for about 60 percent of total Group sales. It is therefore natural that George Caplea and his expertise within this industrial segment are clearly recognized in our organization."
