Trelleborg sells units in Horda and Ohs

Trelleborg sells units in Horda and Ohs Trelleborg Automotive, one of the Trelleborg Group's four business areas, is selling its manufacturing units in Horda and Ohs to Vätterledens Invest AB. The sale is part of Trelleborg Automotive's concentration and reorganization program. In 1996 the Group parent company Trelleborg AB acquired the Horda group, which included the Horda and Ohs manufacturing units. Among other items, the units produce rubber components, crankcase ventilation equipment and rubber hose. These product areas are no longer considered to represent a core area of business within Trelleborg Automotive. Accordingly, this is seen as an ideal opportunity to sell production units to an owner who will assume industry responsibility for, and offer continued employment to, the units' personnel. The sale of the Horda and Ohs units will not affect the Trelleborg Group's earnings for fiscal year 2000.
