Ahlsell establishes first heating and plumbing supplies operation in Norway Swedish heating, plumbing and electrical supplies wholesaler Ahlsell, a Trelleborg Group business area, has acquired Norwegian heating and plumbing supplies wholesaler Sjölie & Birch. Sjölie & Birch, which is primarily active in the Oslo area, has annual sales of approx. NOK 80 M. The acquisition of Sjölie & Birch signals the establishment of Ahlsell's first heating and plumbing supplies operation in the Norwegian market. Negotiations started this spring and was finalized by the approval by Norwegian authorities.
