Overview
Small foam fenders are frequently chosen for rescue boats and coastguard vessels. Manufactured from high energy absorbing, resilient, closed-cell polyethylene foam, encapsulated within a high-performance polyurethane elastomer skin. The elastomer skin can be further reinforced with layers of fabric materials, to provide additional performance.
Small foam fenders are puncture-resistant as they can neither deflate nor absorb water. The fenders can be fixed to the craft using a variety of methods including gluing, bolting or wire tensioning.
