Breakaway Coupling management

1. Register the Warranty with the KLAW support team: Click Registration.
2. Confirm all Certification is filed and available for reference when required.
3. Ensure the unit is installed according to the instructions within the IOM.
4. Manage the handling and use of the unit according to IOM instructions.
5. Never swap out a unit to another application or configuration before confirming with the KLAW Technical Team.
6. Always keep the IOM available for easy access.
7. Understand the various scenarios where an Activation may occur and ensure the workforce is trained in managing these scenarios (know what an Activation could be like).
8. Know the procedure for managing events following an Activation: including the resetting and recommissioning of the transfer line.

Service and maintenance schedule
9. Execute the service schedule according to the IOM (registering the Warranty will enable the KLAW Support Team to prompt upcoming Service points).

10. Know the service and maintenance procedures: from decommissioning then service and recommissioning. Know what capabilities are available within the operation to conduct these procedures. The KLAW Support Team can assist with servicing or advice.
