ITG: Describe your daily activities within Trelleborg and how they benefit the customer.
LC: My role at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions is to take care of customers at the Mexico marketing company. I am highly customer-focused, and each day I put my best efforts toward supplying quotes, following up inquiries and assisting customers with any special requests. Here at Trelleborg, we take pride in being a partner that you can rely on. Our customers can find comfort in the fact that we not only provide high quality products, but we also look forward to providing high quality service, before and after the sale.
ITG: Do you interact with your colleagues globally to provide solutions for customers in different locations around the world?
LC: Yes, I recently had an opportunity to assist a local customer whose company does business with Trelleborg globally, to ensure consistent pricing across marketing companies. Our local customer wanted to receive a quotation on parts that their company also currently purchases in the United States. To provide consistent and accurate pricing across marketing companies, I collaborated with a colleague from our Midwest office in the US who currently quotes and supplies the same product. Our global customer really appreciated being able to receive consistent pricing across the different marketing companies, even though the transaction occurs in two separate countries.
