Three years ago, one of the world’s largest geotechnical contractors needed a hose for its new drilling machine.
Their engineers’ selection: combine Trelleborg’s PERFORMER GL AD10H hoses with End Flex couplings and AQUA 10SD hose assemblies.
Their plan was simple: put the PERFORMER and the End Flex couplings to work conveying gravel and mineral water away from the drill and use the AQUA 10SD to supply fresh water and connect various lines of wastewater treatment equipment and separator systems.
Were they right?
Recently, the teams inspected all their 200 mm x12 meter hoses with cameras and found... nothing.
Even after over 1000 days of heavy use in Italy and Spain, the hoses showed no abrasions or other wear and tear.
