Seals are designed to improve the indoor climate by keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer. These easy-to-install seals cover all types of gaps, save energy, eliminate draughts and reduce noise.

Facades

A facade consisting of a framework of metal and glass puts high demands of the seals. High rise buildings with customized seals for each project are a challenge solving the practical demands on an architectural expression. We partner up all the way from finding the right material combinations to testing the wall sections in a mockup.

Glass frames

Glazing strips integrated in the window are often built up in modules giving the seal different properties for each of its functions. Often customized for groove fitting but could also be nailed or stapled. The properties of the seal are part of the overall solution in a window that helps to seal, damp and protect someone’s home.

Door & window seals

Windows or framework fitted on site
The seals in windows or in the framework around the windows that are fitted on site do not only have the properties that make them do the job when they are in place, they are also designed to make the fitting easy. This could be done by e.g. giving the seal different properties in separate modules, surface treatment that provides a certain friction level, joints that hold for the fitting or a material mix that makes the seal regain its shape after being compressed.

Prefab window elements

Sealings for window sections or doors that are fitted already in the factory. Seals that not just do the job of sealing but also are customized for suiting the production process e.g. tailored for a specific machine. The customization could be surface treatments for a certain level of friction or containing a cord to prevent prolongation.

Sliding windows

Where conventional sealing options on the market, such as bonded coatings, brush seals or flock profiles, are subject to abrasion and the associated reduced sealing effect, the new FrictionControl technology meets the dual requirements of abrasion resistance and sliding.

Solar panel seals

Seals for solar panels must prevent leakage in an environment where fluids are subjected to extreme temperature fluctuations. Seals are also used to dampen movements between the glass and framework of the panel. A trend towards lighter, thinner panels is increasing demands on all components. Naturally, UV-resistance is a must for solar panel seals.

Floor soundproofing seal

This seal reduces noise and vibrations that are generated and transmitted through floors and ceilings. It is designed to absorb movements in a building's joints and construction elements.

Sill seal for ground, foundation and wall sections

Sill seals provide weather proofing and thermal insulation, and act as soundproofing between floors or construction elements. The sill seal replaces material such as plastic, corrugated paper, mineral wool or glass wool.
