Trelleborg opened a new extrusion coating manufacturing facility in Forest City, North Carolina, marking a major step forward in the production of high-performance coated materials in the United States.
The facility brings next-generation polymer extrusion coating technology to customers across aerospace, healthcare and medical, safety and protection and industrial markets. Designed for efficiency, quality and scalability, the site combines a pilot line for research and development with a full-scale, highly automated production line that delivers exceptional material consistency.
The Forest City location runs completely solvent-free and on renewable electricity, producing zero emissions of volatile organic compounds or carbon dioxide during manufacturing.
