From new spark to lasting impact: Jennifer Ruffler

18 years ago, Jennifer Ruffler was looking for a new spark in her career. After her first interview with Trelleborg, she knew she had found what she was looking for.
That initial excitement has been a constant throughout her career progression since joining in February 2007.
Jennifer believes firmly in the power of teamwork. "It's all about the people in the company – success only comes when everyone pulls together." She has implemented many significant projects, including the move to the Innovation Center and a major SAP implementation. In each case, she notes, "I’ve always been able to rely on the entire team." These moments of collective achievement are what make her proudest, reinforcing her belief in what is possible when people unite toward a common goal.

It is important for you to be proactive, take on new tasks and have the courage to see them through." From the beginning, Jennifer was impressed by Trelleborg's culture, particularly the opportunity to successfully combine a demanding career with family life. "The support from my colleagues and managers was impressive," she reflects. "Only in this way was it possible to go from the position of Controller to Managing Director and finally Regional Finance Director."
