Trelleborg plans new production facility in India

Trelleborg’s Marine and Infrastructure operation have announced it is strengthening its presence in India through the construction of a new manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad, India. 

The state-of-the-art facility will produce Trelleborg’s full range of marine and infrastructure products and will be located close to the company’s existing global engineering center, enabling closer collaboration with key regional customers.

The investment targets India’s expanding markets, particularly in port infrastructure, energy facilities and water networks. This expansion marks a significant step in Trelleborg’s global growth strategy, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of engineered polymer and technology solutions for marine, infrastructure, and energy projects worldwide.
