Kalmar was established in 1988, and Gävle was acquired 2008. Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Kalmar/Gävle is a full-service manufacturing facility specialized in the production of brake shims. Gävle is a fully integrated site under Kalmar’s responsibility. The site of Gävle is a painting facility, which prepare the steel for vulcanization with rubber in Kalmar. The products are used for noise damping of disc brakes for the global light vehicle industry. We offer 300 different material combinations, stamped to fit the customer’s unique purpose.
