Trelleborg Silicate Resin
Cured Trelleborg Silicate Resins are highly chemical resistant, heat resistant, and in case of fire self-extinguishing. Thus they can be used in critical areas such as airports and tunnels. The resin formulas do not contain any volatile organic compounds (VOC) and are completely styrene-free. They can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures from Iceland to Abu Dhabi. The excellent bonding to pipe materials like concrete, stoneware, steel, cast iron and PVC, with a tight and positive fit as well as a service life of 50+ years make Trelleborg Silicate Resin systems belonging to the most popular and well-established consumables among installers and customers worldwide.
Trelleborg Resin System "S"
Type S, so-called "summer resin", is recommended for use at higher outside temperatures. In order to adjust pot and curing times individually, it is possible to mix with Type Winter Resin or Accelerator.
Trelleborg Resin System "W"
Type W, so-called "winter resin", is recommended for use at lower outside temperatures. In order to adjust pot and curing times individually, it is possible to mix with Summer Resin or Accelerator.
Trelleborg Resin System "A"
This highly reactive silicate resin type, also called "accelerator", is intended for use in subarctic areas or as an additive for types W and/or S. We recommend it to specifically trained and experienced installers only.
