
Code of Conduct
Trelleborg’s Code of Conduct reflects that we support and operate our business in accordance with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the general concepts expressed in the International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and the UN Declaration of Human Rights. On the basis of the Group’s Code of Conduct, Trelleborg pursues efforts around exemplary business conduct both internally and across the value chain based on compliance with laws, rules and international agreements.
Anti- corruption and competition law
Trelleborg has a zero tolerance policy toward all forms of corruption, including bribery and extortion, blackmailing, nepotism, racketeering and embezzlement. The contents of Trelleborg’s Group-wide Compliance Program have been continuously developed and, in addition to issues related to competition law, also include issues of anti-corruption, export control, data protection and employee relations, as well as matters relating to professional conduct and business ethics.
Whistleblower
The Group’s Whistleblower system shall be used when there is reason to suspect that laws, human rights or the Code of Conduct are being violated. Possible such violations include corruption, fraud or harassment. Suppliers, customers and other external stakeholders involved with the Trelleborg Group, may report suspected violations of the law, human rights or the Code of Conduct, directly to local operation managers or by using the Trelleborg Whistleblower system
Privacy and Protection
For the sake of integrity and in order to maintain and protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, we are at all times committed to respecting the privacy of any personal data which we process. As employees, we are all required to follow applicable rules and contractual commitments on confidentiality. We are always careful regarding the Group’s critical information and information that may be confidential, including any information that could potentially affect our share price. We will secure that any information related to an identified or identifiable natural person is handled in a compliant manner. When handling personal data or confidential information about the Group as part of your responsibilities, you must be aware of and comply with non-disclosure agreements, local regulations and all applicable Group policies and directives.
