Trelleborg awarded CDP’s top rating for supplier climate engagement
The Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates how effectively organizations work with suppliers to address climate change, covering areas such as supplier engagement, governance, emissions reduction initiatives and value chain climate strategies. The A rating reflects Trelleborg’s commitment to integrating sustainability throughout its operations and supply chain while supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy.
"Addressing climate change requires collaboration across the entire value chain. This recognition from CDP highlights the importance of working closely with our suppliers to increase transparency, drive improvements and accelerate climate action beyond our own operations. We are proud of this achievement, which is the result of long-term, strategic and systematic work," says Peter Nilsson, President and CEO of Trelleborg.
CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) is a global non-profit organization that operates the world's leading environmental disclosure system for companies, cities and regions. Trelleborg’s A-rating in CDP’s assessment reflects best practices in supplier engagement and climate governance, supporting transparency and climate action across global supply chains.
The recognition reinforces Trelleborg’s commitment and aspiration to be a sustainability leader in its industry. The Group will continue to advance initiatives across its value chain while creating long-term value for customers, stakeholders and society.
