Sustainable-companies
We are proud to announce that Trelleborg has maintained its second-place ranking in the annual Swedish sustainability ranking, Sustainable Companies for 2022, in the Capital Goods category. In addition, we have advanced to a shared third place in the combined ranking of all Swedish listed companies.

This recognition reflects our dedication to Protecting the Essential and integrating sustainability into every part of our operations. It also shows that we are well-positioned to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world, as we all work towards a more sustainable future.

“This underlines our ambition to be a sustainability leader in our industry and shows the strong support and hard work from the whole organization,” says Ulrika Wedberg, Vice President Sustainability.

We remain committed to advancing sustainable practices across our company and industry. We strive to create long-term value for our stakeholders while safeguarding our planet’s natural resources for future generations. We will continue to build on our progress and drive sustainability forward.

The “Hållbara Bolag” ranking includes OMX Nasdaq listed companies that belong to GICS industry groups, Capital Goods, Consumer Goods, Consumables, Banks, Investment companies, as well as materials.

The ranking is based on several different sections. In addition to open information from corporate reports and websites, companies have responded to a survey about their work within areas including: Strategy & UN Sustainability Development Goals, risk mapping, environment, climate, human rights, anti-corruption and employee issues. The ranking is organized by the newspapers Dagens Industri and Aktuell Hållbarhet and carried out by the School of Economics at Lund University together with an advisory committee.
