Trelleborg's holding in Starckjohann exceeds 90 percent - compulsory redemption procedures initated The Trelleborg Group has entered into an agreement with the Kanervaara, Starckjohann, Aejmelaeus and Lindholm families, among others, to acquire shares in Starckjohann Oyj corresponding to about 11 percent of the Finnish company's share capital. As a result of these share purchases, Trelleborg's holding in Starckjohann Oyj will increase to exceed 90 percent of the voting rights in the company and compulsory redemption proceedings will be initiated to acquire the remaining shares outstanding. "The purchase of these holdings provides us with a better opportunity to more rapidly integrate selected parts of the Starckjohann Group with our Distribution sector operations," comments Trelleborg's President and CEO, Fredrik Arp.
