UKMPA Conference

Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure is excited to showcase its portfolio of SafePilot solutions at the 134th UKMPA conference on 28th and 29th September 2022 at the MacDonald Holyrood Hotel and Spa in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

As part of the product offerings on display, Trelleborg will feature its newest SafePilot solution, CAT PRO, a completely independent Portable Pilot Unit (PPU) designed to overcome the limitations of the AIS and Wi-Fi range. SafePilot is an integral part of SmartPort, a technology platform from Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure that builds a holistic view of port operations and helps in increasing efficiencies, safety and improving ROI for ports and vessels alike.

SafePilot CAT PRO is ideal for applications requiring the highest positioning and speed accuracy, such as piloting in narrow channels and confined waterways. There will also be other portable navigation systems on display at the event; these systems provide ports with important, real-time navigation information, thus enabling pilots to approach and maneuver ports safely with greater precision and control. Andy Nattrass, EMEA Sales Manager, will be in attendance to discuss Trelleborg's next generation of integrated navigation and piloting software and hardware solutions.
