Maritime Day

Trelleborg Marine and Infrastructure will be at Maritime Day in Mariehamn on Thursday, 1 June. The one-day event taking place at Alandica Kultur & Kongress in Mariehamn offers an excellent opportunity to connect with industry experts and get the latest insights on issues pertinent to the maritime industry.

Mike Howie from Trelleborg will be on hand to showcase AutoMoor, a rope-free, automated mooring system designed to make berthing operations smarter, safer, and more sustainable. AutoMoor units eliminate mooring lines, significantly improving operational efficiency and enhancing safety levels. The units feature a new vacuum pad and passive damping technology that helps rapidly attach and secure a vessel at berth; they are suitable for various environmental and berthing conditions.

Since 2001, Maritime Day has brought together ship owners, suppliers, maritime schools, and other organizations related to the maritime industry with a host of seminars covering industry and political topics.
