LNG Shipping & Terminals Conference 2023

Trelleborg is pleased to be the Platinum Sponsor of the LNG Shipping and Terminals Conference 2023. The conference will take place in London from November 14-15, 2023, and will provide a platform to discuss the opportunities and challenges associated with Europe's small-scale LNG expansion, and LNG advancements in Africa, the US, and Asia. This year's event will also focus on the transition from LNG, what comes next for BioLNG and synthetic LNG availability, and market developments, including lessons learned from Europe's fast-tracked FSRU projects.

As part of the conference, Dave Pendleton, Managing Director of our operations in the UK, will deliver the opening speech titled, 'Navigating the LNG Landscape,' providing a global perspective on opportunities, challenges, and the future of the LNG scene.

On the same day, our Technical Director, Andrew Stafford, will take the stage to deliver a presentation on best practices and standards for LNG bunkering. The presentation will cover logistical models, designs, and operations, with a particular focus on highlighting compatibility challenges for bunkering vessels and terminals. Andrew will also provide insights into SGMF standards for LNG bunkering, progress on standards currently in development, and share best practices in bunkering operations, safety, and compatibility.

We will also have our specialists Matteo Suzzani and Sander Verweij host a roundtable session on enhancing LNG hose transfer operations with an innovative approach. They will focus on optimizing operational time while maintaining the highest safety standards.
