When Jean Liang first learned about Trelleborg, she was struck by the company’s long history, a legacy built on strong leadership, established processes and a sense of responsibility. This depth of history and culture made her curious to become part of something lasting and meaningful.
Embracing Change
Jean’s initial conversations with the Trelleborg team set the tone for her experience. She recalls the openness and professionalism of her interviews, and how warmly she was welcomed into the fold. The Shanghai and Zhejiang teams in China made her feel part of the team from the start, offering her the support and inclusion that would quickly become a hallmark of her time at Trelleborg. Even small moments, like sharing Trelleborg’s Chinese name, “Te Rui Bao,” with her young daughter, who immediately said it sounded nice, helped root Jean’s experience in both her personal and professional life.In her early months, Jean took on a pivotal role in the “100 in 100” Baron Integration Project. Working alongside colleagues from IT, Legal, Marketing, Finance, EHS and the Baron teams, she found her expertise valued and her ideas supported. The collaboration provided Jean with a deep understanding of the business and a profound sense of satisfaction as milestones were reached and celebrated. Designing new workspaces in Shanghai and Zhejiang and watching the team’s entrepreneurial spirit flourish reinforced her confidence in Trelleborg’s commitment to teamwork and growth.
Jean sees the company embracing dynamic change with an entrepreneurial mindset. The brand attracts talented people eager to make an impact while expanding and pursuing new opportunities. Jean attributes this momentum to an openness to ideas and a willingness to work together.
