Boston Facility Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Trelleborg’s applied technologies Boston, MA facility is delighted to announce successful transition from ISO 9001:2008 to ISO 9001:2015. After undergoing a thorough audit of business processes and management elements by LRQA, we have passed the audit with no non-compliances to the requirements of the International Standard.

It was truly a team effort lead by Naresh Chityala to move to the new standard. This demonstrates our continued commitment to our customers to provide quality solutions and services to accelerate business," states Robert Kelly, General Manager of the facility.
“This certification was achieved by successfully aligning Group and Local level strategic direction and core values with the customer requirements, operating context and the needs and expectations of interested parties,” Continues Robert. “By establishing, implementing and maintaining the Quality Policy, Objectives and Business Processes within the aforementioned sphere of business envelope, we strive to enhance our customer satisfaction and remain a pioneering entity in our industry.
“We also adopted ‘Risk Based Thinking’ at all levels for process planning, goals, technology and changes to business environment and taking proactive measures to prevent or mitigate potential business risks.
“Assimilation and integration of Group level strategic initiatives such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, Working Capital and Sales Excellence programs into our Management System’s continuous improvement program ensured availability of tools and knowledge required to achieve improvement. The existence of such a collaborative environment is a powerful organization wide resource we don’t take for granted.”
