Sealing for chemical and processing technology is determined by a variety of requirements:

- Hygienic and safety requirements must be met.
- Project-related needs frequently range from smaller to medium lot sizes.
- Materials are often required to carry a specific certificate of approval, such as FDA, BAM or 90/128 EEC.
