Crew Training

Trelleborg MI provides essential crew training required to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of its critical equipment used in gas transfer operations such as hoses & transfer systems, safety links, berthing systems, vessel positioning technologies and filtration systems. This training can be provided on-site or remotely via on-line platforms through interactive expert presentations supported with video and animated demonstrations.

Trelleborg MI has developed and implemented its first training program on utilizing its transfer systems equipment in an operational environment particularly focussing on the critical sequencing of operational processes. This is the first of a series of programs to support crews in operating critical equipment in the gas transfer process. Further programs include a Gas Transfer Crew Competency assessment module to allow initial and ongoing assessments to be carried out.

Trelleborg MI provides extensive documentation and Installation, Operation and Maintenance manuals. This provides all the information required by operators and their crews to ensure optimal performance and maintenance of its critical equipment used in gas transfer operations such as hoses & transfer systems, safety links, berthing systems, vessel positioning technologies and filtration systems

Trelleborg MI has developed a state-of the art Gas Transfer Centre of Excellence in the UK that allows for both classroom based  and ‘hands-on’ equipment training in the same facility. This is initially focused on TMI’s Hose and Transfer Systems and Safety Links equipment, and will be expanded to cover all TMI equipment used in gas transfer operations.
