Trelleborg acquires coated fabrics operation in North America
Trelleborg has, through its Trelleborg Coated Systems business area, signed an agreement and finalized the acquisition of the U.S. based privately owned company Laminating Coating Technologies, Inc. (Lamcotec). Lamcotec develops and manufactures polyurethane-coated and laminated fabrics primarily used in the aerospace industry and in the healthcare & medical industry. The acquisition complements Trelleborg’s offering and strengthens the Group’s position in engineered polyurethane-coated fabrics.
The company has its head office and production facility in Monson, Massachusetts, U.S. Total sales amounted to about SEK 185 M in 2017. This bolt-on acquisition is part of Trelleborg’s strategy to strengthen its positions in attractive market segments.

The transaction will be consolidated as of July 1, 2018.
