Get to know our SuperSealer for April: Ryan Klachko! Relatively new to the Trelleborg family, Ryan tells us that being an expert in Trelleborg’s line of solutions is his key to dealing with the evolving nature of business in trenchless pipe rehab.
Who are you?
Ryan Klachko, Sales Manager for central United States.
How long have you worked in your current position and what are your key duties?
I have been in this position for close to a year. My key duties can be broken down into two aspects:
a) providing current customers with profitable, consistent and reliable solutions when it comes to trenchless pipe rehab
b) introducing new customers to the world of trenchless pipe rehab
What do you like about working with Trelleborg?
My favorite part of Trelleborg is the people. My job would be impossible without the help we get from our technical department, our customer service department, and management. The people at Trelleborg make it great.
What are the key challenges you face in your job?
The biggest key challenge we face is meeting incredibly tight supply demands and timelines. Often a contractor will call us directly from a job site with an urgent request and it is up to us to supply the technical expertise that they need to resolve their issue.
How is business in your area evolving? How are you preparing for this?
The world of trenchless pipe rehab is growing rapidly -- you can see the growth in our product line and across the board. Every year, we see a launch of a new innovative product or method. I try to prepare for this growth by staying up-to-date with all of our solutions and the technical specifications related to each of the products. I do my best to be an expert in the Trelleborg line of products.
What do you do in your free time?
I enjoy fishing and spending time with my family outdoors.
