The journey
I joined Trelleborg in 2016 as a production worker in rubber manufacturing. A year later, I took my first step towards the more analytical side of the work when I moved into the final product quality team as a Process Technician.
For the past few years, I’ve been working as a Laboratory Technician in the Physical Laboratory, where I’m responsible for receiving compound samples, performing rheological measurements, coordinating work, and setting priorities to ensure the smooth release of compounds.
My role has evolved over time, allowing me to broaden both my technical expertise and my organizational skills. In addition to laboratory testing and rheological measurements, my work involves coordinating tasks, managing priorities, and helping the team work efficiently together. This has strengthened my ability to adapt to changing demands and communicate effectively, while also contributing to continuous improvement in the way we work.
Throughout my time at Trelleborg, I’ve gained experience across various areas of production and quality processes, which has broadened my technical knowledge and strengthened my organizational and coordination skills. My current role requires close teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
What I value most about working at Trelleborg is the strong sense of professionalism and collaboration. For me, professionalism means supporting one another and being open to change to find more effective and efficient ways of working. We build on our shared knowledge, exchange advice and experiences, and continuously learn from one another. Trust in colleagues’ expertise and strong teamwork make it possible to work efficiently and reliably every day
Behind the expertise
An important part of my role is ensuring compounds meet the required standards and procedures before they’re released. This requires precision, responsibility and close cooperation with colleagues across different functions.
To me, expertise means combining technical knowledge with teamwork, reliability and a willingness to continuously improve. It’s knowing when to ask, when to share and how to keep improving. The most satisfying moments are when the team pulls together and gets it right.
Beyond work
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature. Gardening and working outdoors help me relax, and I also enjoy heading to the mountains when I can. These are things that help me recharge and appreciate the peace and beauty of nature.
My interests outside of work help me maintain balance and bring patience and focus to my daily work.
