Alexandra Kryvets outside of the facility in Germany
As a Quality Engineer at Trelleborg Antivibration Solutions, I have built my career on a foundation of innovation, cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement. I began in industrial engineering, where I worked to optimize internal processes and lead new product introductions alongside engineering and production teams.

Over time, my dedication to excellence and passion for quality led me to focus on supplier quality, where I now drive high standards across the supply chain, manage audits and foster preventive quality assurance.

How has your role at Trelleborg developed over time?

I began my career in Industrial Engineering. In that role, I worked closely with internal processes, production flows and continuous improvement. Together with the engineering and production teams, we developed processes for new parts and delivered them to customers. Recently, I transitioned into Supplier Quality. Today, my role focuses less on internal processes and more on managing supplier performance, audits and preventive quality assurance across the supply chain.

How has being part of a global team influenced your work and personal growth?

Working at our facility in Germany has opened doors to international collaboration and growth. Visiting and connecting with colleagues at other Trelleborg locations, such as Silao in Mexico, has strengthened my communication skills and cultural awareness. These experiences have shown me the importance of clarity, alignment and collaboration when operating across borders and different business environments. I know I will apply these skills throughout my career, especially as I continue to work with suppliers around the world.

In what ways does your role shape the future of industry?

By focusing on supplier quality, I ensure that our suppliers meet high standards long before their components reach our production lines. This proactive approach supports reliable, sustainable and high-performing solutions for our customers. It also plays an important role in shaping future industrial standards.

When do you feel most inspired by your work?

I feel truly inspired during cross-functional collaboration here at our Velten site in Germany. When teams from across our facility come together, combine their expertise and deliver exceptional components within short lead times, it clearly demonstrates the strength, commitment and teamwork that define our location. One example is the HALL project, a specialized innovation we designed for axle guide linkages in train bogies, which we recently released into production. These moments show how closely connected collaboration and high performance are in Velten.
