NBR represents the same elastomer based on a butadiene and acrylonitrile copolymer.
Nitrile is inherently resistant to:
- Hydraulic fluids
- Lubricating oils
- Other non-polar petroleum-based products
- Air and water environments
General Polymer Characteristics
Abrasion Resistance | Good | Gas Permeability | Good |
Compression Set | Excellent | Low Temperature Flexibility | Good |
Elongation | Good | Tear Resistance | Good |
