Line Handling
Retrieval, handling and securing mooring lines is an integral part of the mooring process. Being a manual operation, ports and terminals are very concerned with safety and efficiency. Trelleborg Marine & Infrastructure has specific line handing products which help improve both safety and efficiency. Traditional line hauling products such as capstans are used to haul the vessel’s messenger and mooring lines.
