Trelleborg Sets Sights on Mexican Printing Industry

Trelleborg’s printing solutions operation has set its sights firmly on the Mexican printing industry and says it will be making some major announcements over the coming months, as Mark Barrington, Business Director for printing solutions in the Americas, explains.

“Mexico is an important and growing market and it’s a very exciting one for Trelleborg,” he says. “There are certainly some great opportunities both for us as a manufacturer and for printers to improve significantly the efficiency of their offset presses by using leading-edge tailored blanket solutions.

Trelleborg’s printing solutions operation is a global supplier of offset blankets, which are manufactured at key facilities around the world to extremely strict quality standards. Converting blankets is carried out at dedicated locations to precise tolerances to ensure accuracy and longevity on the press. The company’s range includes solutions for packaging, metal decorating, commercial sheet fed, web offset and newspaper production as well as niche applications such as coating and varnishing.
