Trelleborg Achieves Recognition for Best Printing Blanket in Brazil
Trelleborg’s printing solutions operation has added a new award to its collection, achieving the prize for ‘2015 Best Market Blanket” in Brazil, given by Graphprint, one of the most important graphic art magazines for Brazilian printers.
The Graphprint Awards recognizes graphic suppliers able to provide excellence and high performance in the market of printed works, such as magazines, books, packaging, advertising, and many others.
Trelleborg received its award for its performance demonstrated by the wide offering of Printec blankets that successfully meet all applications in the offset printing market. It was presented during the 15th edition of the Graphprint event held on 25th August in São Paulo. Renato Santos, Operations Manager for Trelleborg’s printing solutions in Brazil and Ernesto Rukopf, Commercial Director for Brazil, were in attendance to receive the award.
Rukopf, comments: “We are honored and satisfied by this new achievement. Winning this award shows that the entire Brazilian team is committed to achieve our corporate values and concepts. Trelleborg’s printing solutions operation has a manufacturing facility in Barueri, São Paulo, Brazil, where it produces printing blankets for commercial sheetfed applications and for printing on metal packaging. This is supported by a local sales team managed by Rukopf and is part of the operation’s global manufacturing footprint.
