Trelleborg Successfully Launches M2 Pit Stop Line in China

Nicolas Nollé, OEM Director Worldwide Material Handling & Construction Tires at Trelleborg, said in his welcome speech: “We sincerely thank all guests for taking time to attend our Pit Stop Line launch event. Your great support and cooperation has been strongly appreciated during the past six years since Trelleborg’s material handling tires entered the Chinese market in 2013.

“Pit Stop Line is a next generation product with an innovative design and a unique feature. It is designed to increase productivity, safety and sustainability by simplifying tire usage and replacement for our customers. These three main achievements are undoubtedly of paramount importance to the fast-changing Chinese market”.

“The Pit Stop Line demonstrates how we have used our application expertise to develop and deliver added value to our customers especially the forklift rental companies and sustainability focused enterprise customers. The tire lowers impact on the environment by reducing tire replacement frequency by more than 20%.”

After the speech given by Nicolas Nollé, Yuanfu Shi, EMDC Director of Hyster-Yale Maximal Forklift (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd, Yong Yu, Sales Director of Jungheinrich Heli Industrial Truck Rental Co., Ltd, Yu Zhou, General Manager of Suzhou Famelift Logistics Equipment Co., Ltd, Guowei Zhou, General Manager of Shanghai Anhe Forklift Co., Ltd, Sandy Luo, Sales Director China of Trelleborg and Nicolas Nollé officially launched the new Pit Stop Line tire, thereby initiating the use of a new generation of forklift tires in China.

Sandy Luo commented: “We focus on social engagement to enhance safety for our customers who are forklift drivers. To this end, we’ve begun a series of tire care activities to provide professional technical support and seasonal care to forklift drivers. The first phase of the tire care project covered around 1,000 drives and we are going to launch the second phase in December 2019.”

An open discussion about the topic of Sustainability was the last section of the event. All guests were involved with the initiative to actively promote energy saving and environmental protection in their daily work and life.
