Trelleborg will present its wide range of agricultural tires at NAMPO 2018, one of the leading agricultural trade shows held in Bothaville, South Africa, from May 15 to May 18 at pavilion B13A.
Gustavo Pinto, Regional Director Africa & Middle East, Trelleborg Wheel Systems, says: “NAMPO Harvest Day is considered as the heartbeat of agriculture in South Africa. It offers manufacturers like Trelleborg, a unique platform to network with the top players in the agricultural industry, strengthen relationships and enjoy all that NAMPO offers.
“At NAMPO, Trelleborg will demonstrate to farming professionals its best-in-class solutions that decrease the use of natural resources and overall environmental footprint, while maximizing efficiency and productivity of their operations.”
Taking center stage on the stand are some of Trelleborg’s popular products, including:
The TM1000 High Power tire, which is able to transfer the entire tractor’s engine power to the ground, reducing working time and the cost of farming operations. It has been engineered to maximize the efficiency of the latest generation of transmissions.
The TM600 tire has been developed for multipurpose machines to operate both in the field and on the road. Today’s tractors are increasingly used on the road, frequently moving from one field to another, often carrying equipment or towing trailers. It ensures low soil compaction and high flotation performance, protecting the soil and improving crop fertility.
The TM700 tire is well known for its great performance and advanced technology that ensures excellent traction and low slippage for minimum energy loss with maximum power transmission to the ground.
Twin Radial tires from Trelleborg have a unique tread design that provides high flotation and low compaction, engineered for the latest generation of trailers. The T404 is ideal for soft terrain and the TM90 is an all-round bias solution for standard tractors.
Also at Trelleborg’s pavilion, visitors will be able to face the challenges of modern agriculture by playing the “Farming Simulator 17” video game for which Trelleborg is the official agricultural tire partner. In addition, there will be a shop on stand where visitors can purchase Trelleborg and Mitas branded goods.
